Puma Concolor

2024

Limited Edition

Linoleum Gradient Blockprint

Puma Concolor is an homage to the Mountain Lion. It features an image of the cougar's face looking skyward with the shadow of their skull beneath their muzzle.  Above them is the image of the La Platas at night and around them are the tracks of cougar and then of other wild ones. This piece is one of gratitude for Mountain Lion and the way they are stewards and protectors of the land.

A Way Home

2024

Limited Edition

Linoleum Blockprint

This piece was made as part of the SIlver City, NM 2024 Print Fiesta Print Exchange.

It is the first in a series of prints and paintings created to honor the wild ones who have come to be seen as pests because they are successfully adapting to our human centric world.  This series aims to see these beings as beautiful and necessary as our planet fights to survive.

Hold

2020-2024

Limited Edition

Linoleum and Chine-collé Print

The drawing for this print first came to me in 2020 while backpacking in the Gila Designated Wilderness in New Mexico.  After spending over 3 weeks alone in the wilderness, I found myself in deep relationship with the plants and animals of that land.

Hold is a piece about inter-dependance. It invites us all to both give and to receive, all within the same breath.

Linoleum Reduction Print

After spending 12 winters around campfires in the Utah desert, my time as a Wilderness Therapy guide finally came to a close in spring 2024.  This piece is an homage to the land there, the elder, the plants, and the spirits that guided me on my journey.

The Webs We Weave

2024

Limited edition

Linoleum Reduction Print

This piece is the story of finding ourselves interconnected to the world and examining what of the threads we are carrying are ones that we want to feed and help grow and which ones we want to release.  It is an acknowledgment that we need both in this life.  It is a permission for us to find our way within the web.  It is the relief of knowing that we get to both hold on and let go.
